Employer of Choice for Women
Citi has again been awarded ‘Employer of Choice for Women’ status in 2008 by the Federal Government’s Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Agency (EOWA). This marks the sixth consecutive year for Citi in Australia.

The award recognises companies that build cultures to support and enable the advancement of women in the workplace. Initiatives Citi has introduced to provide a supportive and positive workplace for women include:

• Flexible work arrangements • Training and mentoring for women • Programs to help with maternity leave, including ‘Keep in Touch’ initiatives • Programs for managing resources around parental leave • Ongoing compulsory training in relation to creating an inclusive workplace

Sydney Swans Sponsorship
Citi is a major sponsor of the Sydney Swans AFL team. The sponsorship builds a positive profile for the organisation in Australia through support of the country’s very own football code. Employees have a number of opportunities to be engaged in the sponsorship and almost 2,000 tickets to Swans home games are distributed to staff during the season.
